Our first addition to the vehicle gallery is the second generation Ford F-150 Raptor. Not a bad way to pop our cherry, eh? F-150’s are fantastic off road capable trucks; but the Raptor is in a class of its own. This thing was built and optimized for the trails. The owner of this Raptor, Blake Chase, was gracious enough to lend us the truck for a photo shoot. Naturally, we road tripped to Alabama Hills in Inyo County to shoot the set. I mean, where else would we shoot this behemoth of a truck?

Fresh off the dealership lot, this truck can hold its own; on the dirt and on the road. But if you want to turn it into a true trail rig, then the OEM Ford Raptor wheels got to go. That said, this Raptor was fitted with the Black Rhino Armory off road wheels finished in Gunblack. As far as fitment is concerned, these Ford Raptor wheels are 20×9.5 -18mm on all four corners and wrapped in 37×12.50R20 Toyo Open Country R/T tires.

Wheels and tires aside; this F-150 Raptor is pretty tame in the modding category. Other than a 2″ lift, its pretty much stock. However, an un-modified Raptor isn’t to be taken lightly. Equipped with a 3.5L V6 Twin Turbo, this truck puts down 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. It’s an absolute rocket; take our word for it.
