10 of The Best Off Road Wheels For Your Rig

Building a trail rig is a pretty special feeling; but with so many different modifications from hundreds of brands, it can be tough figuring out who’s who. The trails are unforgiving, especially on your wheel setup. When shopping for the best off road wheels the industry has to offer, you have to sift through a lot of brands, which can be daunting. Mounting the right set of wheels for your use-case is important as it can improve overall driving experience; on and off the trails.

Luckily, the Wheel Suppliers team is pretty well-versed in the wheel industry, so we thought putting together a listicle with our top 10 best off road wheels would lighten the load; at least a little. We’ve got selections from some of the top dogs in the off road wheel industry; so let’s get to it.

P.S. The wheels listed are in no particular order, so don’t worry if the wheel you fall in love with is on the bottom of the list.

1. KMC KM724 Impact OL

First on the list, we’ve got the KMC KM724 Impact OL. KMC has been producing off road wheels since 1982; so rest easy because these guys know what they’re doing. The KM724 Impact OL however, has to be one our personal favorites. This wheel features 16 spokes and a design that’s subtle, yet aggressive. Perfect for achieving that authentic off roading look. The KM724 is available in two finishes; satin black and matte bronze. They come in 16” and 17”, widths from 8”, 8.5” and 9”, offsets of -12 and +0, and multiple PCD’s that fit a wide variety of trucks, SUVs and Jeeps. As for construction, these are 1-piece wheels which offer great performance at an ever better price point.

2. 4PLAY 4PS12

Next up is the 4PLAY 4PS12. With 21 years of experience in the wheel industry, 4PLAY has become one of the best off road wheel brands in the game. All of their wheel designs are absolutely stunning, but the one that sticks out to us the most has to be the 4PS12. The 4PS12 boasts a clean split 12-spoke design with a built-in vented ring along the rim; which is really sick. The 4PS12 is available in a satin black and satin machined finish. As for sizing, they come in 17″, 18″, 20″ and 22″, 9″ width, +0 offset, and a wide variety of popular PCD’s. Thanks to its 1-piece construction, the 4PS12 not only looks great, but is priced great.

3. WELD Off-Road Ledge

Speaking of experience, you can’t have a wheel list without including WELD. Since 1967, WELD has been dominant in the wheel industry, and although they’re relatively new to the off road world, they’re not new to the game. That said, we think the Ledge is one of the best off road wheels they make. This wheel is a modern take on a classic 5-spoke style that Y-splits into the rim, making for a clean aesthetic. The Ledge wheels come in four beautiful finishes: candy red, satin black, satin bronze, and satin gunmetal. Fitments specs are as follows: 17″, 18″, and 20″ diameters, 9″, 10″ and 12″ widths, -44, -12, +0, +12, +13, +18, and +20 offsets, and an assortment of popular bolt patterns. The great thing about the Ledge is its rotary formed construction, meaning it’s one of the lightest off road wheels on the market. Performance and style, what more can you ask for?
